Brooklyn Roller
As a little girl growing up, having a fur friend of her own was always on Brooklyn Roller's wish list. Christmas of 2012 that wish came true when a four-legged Yorkie named Buddy entered her family. In April of 2018, Brooklyn and her family lost Buddy due to an unexpected illness. In the midst of heartbreak, she combined her precious memories of her beloved pet, along with her special experiences of volunteering with critically and chronically ill children to write children's books to serve as a reminder that 'everybody needs someBUDDY to love.' Brooklyn has received numerous awards for her volunteerism and philanthropic servant's heart. As a young teenager, she hopes this book series will be a light in the lives of those who need it the most.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Rory Michelle Kelley
Let me introduce myself, I'm Rory! From the time I could hold a crayon I have been drawing, painting, and creating anything I could imagine. Cardboard, markers, and duct tape were my go-to as a kid. To this day those three things are how a lot of my art projects begin. Being a dream kid myself, I have volunteered and supported the Dream Factory and everything they do for a number of years. When I was given the opportunity to illustrate Adventures of Buddy Luv, I jumped on it. I was more than excited to partner with Brooklyn and bring a bit of love and joy to kids that may not have been given the easy path of life.
